Honest reasons for why I am late
(in my head, it goes):
- I have to be at the DMV/admissions office/ Ausländeramt in 30 minutes. The commute time is just under 40 minutes. I think I will make myself a cheese sandwich and check my email before and after I eat.
- Class starts in 5 minutes. I’m going to pluck my eyebrows now.
- It’s midnight and I need to be up in 6 hours. But first some ice cream before bed. And now I can’t sleep right after eating. Is 3 hours enough for proper digestion before lying down?
